Hong Kong displaces Switzerland as the world's leading wealth hub on the same day courts move to silence a protest anthem and memorials for 1989 are declared unlawful. The two facts are not in contradiction. Capital favours clarity about what is permitted, and jurisdictions that are clear about what is not permitted tend to be equally clear about property rights.-- MB
